Balrāj is a yogin who teaches yoga philosophy from the perspective of existential phenomenology. He writes about yoga philosophy and practice (including meditation).

In his private work, he helps leaders better manage their emotions to be more effective. He also offers meditation for executives, and a half-day self-discovery intensive (which includes a self-awareness approach to astrology). In late 2023, Balrāj became a member of the Inclusive Therapists Community.
